High intensity short duration flash to freeze motion

The SI-Monoflash spark source has been designed to emit a single high energy spark, typically 6 Joules, with a duration (FWHM) of approximately 300ns. The emitted light has a spectrum from UV to the infrared region and is ideally suited for many high speed photographic applications.

The single spark, at 300ns, will stop the motion of fast subjects and is typically used for shadowgraph photography.

Easy to use, simply point the SI-Monoflash at the object in the camera’s field of view and apply a TTL trigger signal.

The SI-Monoflash can be operated in stand-alone mode or several units can be daisy-chained together to provide status information for a multi-station setup.
